TOPS provide servo motors in both A.C. and D.C. versions. Our servo motors function with closed loop feedback control systems, normally consisting of a motor, an amplifier which drives the motor and feedback devices.

Servo motors and drives are generally used in applications where very precise positioning and speed control are required.

Servomotors have fast acceleration and response times and, with brushless configurations, benefit from a full range of new technology control devices, which enhance their positioning accuracy and sensing capability.

Stock range

Our stock servo motors and gearmotors provide approximately twice the torque per frame size as conventional servo motors. The rotor inertia has been optimally designed for typical loads, giving the J Series optimum power ratings for their size.
