Three basic drives exist:
To help you choose the adequate stepping drive, please view our selection tables:
T/P2035
0.125A, 12-35VDC, pulse and direction
2035
The T/P2035 step motor driver is a full or half drive, step phase sequencer with three state switching amplifiers and opto-isolated circuits. The drive also includes an automatic feature to lower motor current by 50% anytime the motor is left at rest for more than one second. This feature can be disabled. The amplifier regulates motor current by chopping at a constant, inaudible frequency. Phase current is selected from 16 levels by a DIP switch. Full or half resolution is switch selectable.
T/P2035-O
0.125A, 12-35VDC, Oscillator or pulse and direction
2035O
The T/P2035O step motor driver is a full or half step drive, step phase sequencer
with three state switching amplifiers and optoisolated circuits.
This drive has a built in ramping pulse generator (oscillator) with adjustable speed,
acceleration and deceleration. Oscillator speed range is 0—5,000 Hz.
Speed can be set from on-board trimpot or external pot.
A jumper allows you to select the internal oscillator. In oscillator mode, the pulse input becomes a run/stop signal: when this signal is set high, the motor accelerates to a preset speed and slews. Lowering the input signal causes the drive to decelerate to rest.
The amplifier regulates motor current by chopping at a constant, inaudible frequency. Phase current is selected from 16 levels by a DIP switch.
T/P2035XD
2.0 Amps, 35VDC, Oscillator 2 Axis Full, Half and Microstep Programmable Digital
Oscillator or pulse and direction
2035XD
The T/P2035XD step motor driver is a two axis, software configured step/direction or oscillator drive. Drives can be quickly and precisely configured using our eXposition™ software and a Windows PC.
When configured for pulse/direction mode, the two drives can be commanded by the step and direction signals available from many PLCs and step motor indexers.
In oscillator mode, the two drives generate their own acceleration and deceleration profiles and are commanded by digital run/stop signals. These signals can be supplied by PLCs, mechanical switches, single board computers or other motion control devices. Speeds may be fixed or can be set "on the fly" by 0 to 5 volt analog signals.
T/P3535
0.4-3.5A, 12-35VDC, pulse and direction
The T/P3535 step motor driver is a full or half step drive, step phase sequencer with MOSFET three state switching amplifiers and optoisolated circuits. The drive also includes an automatic feature to lower motor current by 50% anytime the motor is left at rest for more than one second.
The amplifier regulates motor current by chopping at a constant, inaudible frequency. Phase current is selected from 32 levels by a DIP switch. Full or half resolution is DIP switch selected.
T/P3535-0
0.4-3.5A, 12-35VDC, Oscillator or pulse and direction
3535O
The T/P3535-O step motor driver is a full or half step drive, step phase sequencer with MOSFET three state switching amplifiers and optoisolated circuits. This drive has a built in ramping pulse generator (oscillator) with adjustable speed, acceleration and deceleration. Oscillator speed range is 400—5,000 Hz.
Phase current is selected from 32 levels by a DIP switch.
